Nature's weatherproof technology
Born from necessity during WWII, Ventile was developed for RAF pilots facing the North Sea's harsh conditions. This tightly-woven cotton fabric gained legendary status when Sir Edmund Hillary chose it for his historic 1953 Everest ascent, valuing its reliability in extreme environments. Explorer Ranulph Fiennes similarly selected Ventile for his Transglobe expeditions, recognizing its superior breathability compared to synthetic alternatives. Unlike "plastic" garments that trap moisture, Ventile's natural fibers allow vapor transmission while maintaining weather protection—proving that sometimes nature's solutions outperform modern synthetics.
Seven generations ahead
Have you ever tried to imagine what the world will look like for your great-grandchildren? We do, every day.
Each of our decisions is made considering the impact it could have on the next seven generations. Meeting present needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
Our commitment is clear: to design, produce, and distribute a sustainable wardrobe with zero impact on today's world and tomorrow's.
Following this principle, every fabric we select and every action we take carries the promise of creating 100% natural clothing, free from plastic, entirely recyclable and biodegradable—leaving no ecological footprint for at least the next 7 generations to come.
